MISSION STATEMENT

To provide an opportunity for members to meet and greet and to promote activities of mutual interest

PREAMBLE TO BY-LAWS

Members grow up in a communal environment where families and friends support each other in times of happiness, emotional and economic need.  We have learned, while growing up in our diverse culture, that together we stand, divided we fall, especially in a new diaspora. Members believe in happiness and prosperity which can be accomplished through unity.  Members love their country and are always proud of their heritage.

This is the spirit that has led to the birth of the African Caribbean & International Association of Eastern Ontario ACIAEO.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

To develop and implement programs designed to create and maintain a sense of cultural pride among its members.

To develop and implement cultural exchange programs and activities within the Canadian community.

To provide a supportive and safe forum that provides needed assistance in members’ integration efforts: culturally, socially, economically, professionally and academically.

To encourage unity among African Caribbean & Internationals and provide a forum for members to support and assist each other in times of need.

To provide a forum for members to share apolitical* information about current events in their various heritage..
